Fabulous Photos Friday under the Caribbean Sea!

A very exciting find! A slender pygmy filefish! An inch or so, perfectly hidden.

My last visit to Cozumel was wonderful. I spent it with friends, did yoga, and went diving and snorkeling A LOT.

 Enjoy looking at the fabulous creatures and scenery you can see under the waves in the beautiful

Mexican Caribbean!

Looking up from below is a beautiful sight.
A squirrel fish with a couple of cleaner shrimp.
Looks like the surface of the moon, doesn’t it?
Here is some scale: the pinnacles and mountains of coral on Palancar Reef are fantastic, just unreal in their beauty and size!

A hunting yellow ray with buddy.

Looks like a smile doesn’t it? Pretty funny looking Green Moray!
Gorgeous lobster. They are amazingly colorful, and so alien!!
Teeny, tiny spotted cleaner shrimp. An inch?
A baby Trumpetfish hiding. I see you!

This little territorial damsel bit me! Brave, it’s only 3 inches!
I LOVE corkscrew anemones. Isn’t it beautiful??

These are mollusks, Flamingo Tongues.

A Queen Angelfish playing with a diver’s bubbles!
This is a great find as well, an inch at most, he was digging away! Rough boxcrab.
Beautiful Hawksbill
I love turtles, what can I say?
This is a whitespotted filefish….I think they are pretty cool fish!
Soft corals…they almost look like weeping willows, don’t they?
This odd dude is only found in the waters of Cozumel: The Splendid Toadfish
