Lake Tahoe in the Winter

Harrah’s sent a limo to Reno for me…complete with a bar, champagne, and even a digital fire!

Oh, it is so beautiful here! And as I speak, snow is coming down. I took some photos of the storm coming in today while on the beach (yes, I walked on the beach). If it is clear enough, I will be going out on a boat tomorrow to Emerald Bay, easily one of the most beautiful spots I’ve ever seen.

As I got off the plane, The Wheel of Fortune greeted me!

I grabbed a taxi this morning (no Uber here!) and the driver kind of looked like Santa Claus (actually, I saw a couple of guys who looked like Santa!). I wanted a quick trip to the drugstore and to take some photos on the beach. The mountains were bright and snow capped yesterday, but this morning the storm was coming in, and the mountains weren’t visible.

The beach at Edgewood Park…isn’t that weather incredible!?
A lot of waves!
The golf course at Edgewood Park

I really do like Lake Tahoe…I can see myself living here, at least part of the time. The weather is supposed to get sunny and calm on Sunday, so I’m going to take the Heavenly Gondola up to the mountain. Til then!
