Why You Should Go to the Biscuit Bar in Plano, Texas!

Go to the Biscuit Bar!

Situated in the bustling area of shops, retail and office buildings at the Boardwalk at Granite Park in Plano is an incredible foodie gem called The Biscuit Bar. In the South, biscuits are a staple of our cuisine and although there are other restaurants in DFW that have great biscuits, there is now a dedicated restaurant to the art of biscuit making. Since @thebiscuit.bar serves food from 8pm to 11pm (hours vary on Sundays and weekend days), you can get your biscuit fix pretty much any time of day! Have some biscuits with sausage gravy or a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit for breakfast with hot coffee, a cold brew or a mimosa. For lunch and dinner you have a variety of options including a chicken salad biscuit sandwich, Nashville style hot chicken biscuit, or a buffalo blue chicken biscuit. The tater tots are deliciously crispy and you have a few varieties to choose from.

The restaurant serves beer, cocktails and kombucha. You have the option to sit inside the dimly lit interior with neon signs or you can sit outdoors on their open air patio when a nice breeze is coming through. I’m looking forward to coming back in the fall when I can sit outside with my coffee and biscuits and gravy! My hope is that they will introduce a vegetarian gravy to the menu, and even perhaps some vegetarian “sausage” patties for vegetarians to enjoy, as a large number of my family members are vegetarian and I want to bring them here for the biscuits and a meal!
