5 Things you must do your on your first visit to Cozumel. I love the Mexican Caribbean Island of Cozumel, and since I’ve been going there for over 30 years, I feel I know it pretty well! UPDATE 8/17/2020: The island of Cozumel has reopened at limited capacity, and Villa Coronado is ready to receive you! Check out COVID 19 status. Masks are required in public places, restaurants are operating at 30% capacity, and snorkeling and dive tours at 50%.
