Yosemite is an Amazing Fall Destination

Yosemite is an Amazing Fall Destination. I know because I have experienced it!

Yosemite’s Upper Falls

I have been to many places on this planet that are awe-inspiring, and I must tell you that Yosemite is in my top destinations. Our day in the park was perfect. The autumn sun was shining, but at times, the clouds gave drama to the scenery. Although the waterfalls and rivers had been dry since July, rain a few days before our visit allowed us to see gushing waterfalls and roaring rivers. Yosemite is a piece of art created by nature’s bounty. If you have not been there, I tell you it must be on your list of places to see before you die. There are no words to accurately describe its majesty and beauty but these photos will tell you everything you need to know. A picture is worth a thousand words!

Yosemite is doing a Phased Reopening. Yosemite National Park is open with limited services and facilities to those with day-use reservations, reservations for in-park lodging or camping, and wilderness or Half Dome permits. Traveling through the park on Tioga Road or any other road requires a reservation. Highway 108 (Sonora Pass) is the closest alternate route over the Sierra Nevada in most cases. Remember to socially distance, and wear a mask when you can’t!
