Some of the happiest memories of I have of my dad are from our wonderful family vacations. My father has been gone 30 years, but his memory is always present. There were always smiles and fun times and sunny days on the beach with dad. I miss you, daddy!
I have often wondered what he would have been like had he lived…how much he would have loved his grandchildren, and they him. It is hard to imagine, but I am only four years younger than he was when he died. I’ll never know what he would have been like as an old man…but I treasure every moment I spent with him.
Happy Father’s Day…and never take your dad for granted! Cherish every second.
