St Augustine Florida Eco Tours Took me on a Wonderful Tour!

On my first visit to St Augustine I just had to get out on the water. I mean, it is Florida! With my love of animals and the ocean I decided I had to do a boat tour, and I chose St Augustine Eco Tours. I am glad I did! Not only were they unbelievably accommodating and friendly, but the tour itself was incredible. I’m taking you on a photo tour!

Ben, a former teacher of marine science, was our Captain.
Kirby greets everyone with a warm and happy smile!

From the water
Shrimping attracts birds and dolphins, we even saw a shark fin.
The bad thing about shrimping is the by-catch. They catch a lot of fish, but since they aren’t “fishing”, they dump it. That draws the birds, dolphins and sharks in droves.
The bird action was incredible.

Pelicans are so beautiful, and I love watching them dive.
Beautiful.
A Blue Heron
I love how they skim the water.
My thanks to St Augustine Eco Tours for a lovely morning! When you head to St Augustine, be sure and take a tour, kayak trip or birding adventure with them! It is well worth it.
