What a beautiful sunrise in Cozumel!
I have more photos for you from fabulous Cozumel diving in September! Sunsets are always amazing, but sunrise can also take your breath away! Here are some beautiful photos of diving Cozumel.
The bluest blue you’ll ever see! Feather duster worm, so pretty! Sleepy Hawksbill Turtle. Pretty big one! Look at the huge shell this Stareye Hermit Crab is carrying around!
Yellow Tailed Snapper My favorite dive boat, the Yucab III is owned by We-b-Divin-Cozumel! Yellow Tube Sponges! Can you see the Trumpetfish hiding in this branching coral? I always check these to see if a Trumpet is hiding! Soft Coral sea whip…perfect for hiding fish! The Queen Conch! Horse Eye Jacks Goldentail Eel, look at those golden eyes and sharp teeth! Golden Sea Spray Coral is just gorgeous. Hello little Bicolor Damselfish! Damsels are super territorial, I don’t know how many times this little one bit me! Too small to do anything but make me laugh. Love Damsels! Banded Butterflyfish
Four Eyed Butterflyfish This was a HUGE lobster! I hope he’s never caught, he’s an old one!
Deep Water Sea Fan Huge Horse Conch! I have never seen one as big as this. Bigger than a football. Magnificent Sea Urchin Needle Nose! Caribbean Octopus Octopus! This small sea slug is an Orange Marginella. It was on the shallow reef at night, and just glowed! Scrawled Cowfish Silversides!
I’ve never seen this coloration on a Scorpionfish before. It looked black and white. These neon guys are Reef Squid! they were tiny, but they put on a great light show! It has a little color, but not much! PIN ME!
