Stay at Home, but Dream of, and Plan, Future Travels

Stay at Home, but Dream of, and Plan, Future Travels! The time of staying at home, being safe and flattening the curve continues, but that doesn’t mean you cannot dream of future travel!

I want to share some possible destinations for you, destinations I have loved and plan to return to. Starting on our own continent, I dream of visiting more national parks and other natural places.

Yosemite National Park

Plan future travels to Yosemite National Park, my friends. I have to say I was completely mesmerized by the beauty of the park, it was completely unexpected. I am more familiar with seascapes, and the incredible mountain beauty of Yosemite took my breath away. At this time, nature is resting, taking a breather from the beating humans give it every day, and I can only imagine that the park will come back even more lush, and more beautiful when the scourge of human activity has been stilled.

St Simon’s Island Georgia

The beautiful King and Prince Resort!

Another spot that enchanted me on my travels was St
Simon’s Island in Georgia. Definitely plan future travels to St Simon’s! This picturesque island is different in that there are no major chain resorts, no huge buildings, no neon signs. St Simon’s has purposely retained its charm and timeless landscape. The area is full of history, nature and easy-going ambiance.

There is only one place to get your St Simon’s history and stories….Lighthouse Trolleys and Tours!

Shelter Cove, California

We have quite the view in Shelter Cove, Ca

Shelter Cove is a tiny hamlet in Northern California, far off the beaten path. Three hours north of Mendocino, Shelter Cove is part of the King Range National Conservation Area. Randy and I spent a peaceful and quiet week there, tide pooling, walking, going to the black sand beach, watching the wild ocean, and viewing the local wildlife. If you want to take a break, Shelter Cove is a great spot to do it in.

St Augustine Florida

I stayed at the lovely Casa de Suenos

St Augustine is definitely a place to plan future travels to. I fell completely in love with the Northern Florida town, enjoying the history, its architectural beauty, and nature which is plentiful. I took an ecotour on the water, wandered the town, and even paid a visit to the Fountain of Youth!

Drinking from the Fountain of Youth

These are just a few of the places I recommend planning future travels to, and I will certainly tell you about more of the incredible spots you’ll want to plan future travels to!
