I Loved the Incomparable Four Seasons in Buenos Aires!

A beautiful and friendly welcome at the Four Seasons Buenos Aires!

And who wouldn’t? It is pretty darn close to perfect. The Four Seasons never disappoints, and the Four Seasons Buenos Aires was the highlight of a wonderful trip to Buenos Aires!

So…what did I love about the Four Seasons? Fresh flowers are always the first thing I notice when entering a lobby, and the Four Seasons always has beautiful blooms.

Gorgeous flowers in the Four Seasons Buenos Aires Lobby.

I loved the wonderful service the Four Seasons is so well known for. Check-in was friendly and quick, and the luggage and ice bucket were only a minute behind my entry to the room.

The facade of the Four Seasons Buenos Aires in the Recoleta neighborhood

I loved my accommodation which overlooked the Rio de la Plata (River of Silver) and the incredible horse sculpture on the Four Season’s lawn.

I loved the decor. The Four Seasons Buenos Aires is simply unparalleled in its luxurious interior design. I coveted every piece of furniture, every light fixture, every counter. The hotel is full of art, but truly, the Four Seasons is a work of art in and of itself. I had to photograph just about every inch of the lobby!

The main tower of the Four Seasons overlooks the Álzaga Unzué Palace, a French Renaissance palace built by Mr. Felix Alzaga Unzué as a wedding gift to his wife Elena Peña in 1920. It is a beautiful piece of architecture well known in the Recoleta district of Buenos Aires. It houses the upscale suites at the Four Seasons, and overlooks the pool and fountain. The Palace gives the Four Seasons an air of French sophistication.

The only 5 star hotel in Buenos Aires with an outdoor pool!

The outdoor pool at the Four Seasons Buenos Aires is the only outdoor pool at a 5 star resort in Buenos Aires. The city is quite hot in the summer, and I know other hotels have indoor pools, but for fresh air and beautiful views the Four Seasons is the place to be. I visited the pool almost every day, it is adjacent to the spa, which includes a wonderful workout room. I would work out, shower, then hit the pool for lunch and a swim. The palace adds a dimension of incredible luxury!

I do not believe there can be any doubt about the status of the Four Seasons Buenos Aires as the number one resort in the city. It has everything a discriminating traveler could desire, and much more! If you are heading to Buenos Aires, I highly recommend the Four Seasons!

A most luxurious seating area, and I coveted every single piece!
Beautiful, yet simple, flowers were everywhere.
The elevators off the lobby! So elegant.
I just could not stop looking at the light fixtures!
Gorgeous.
The front desk counter was solid agate! I’ve never seen anything like it.
The palace overlooks the pool, fountain, and outdoor lounge area.
