They are called chocolate because of the darker color, and they are delicious! My first lunch was at Hotel Oasis with yummies like Chocolate Clam Dip, fruit, guacamole and chips, and fish. But even non-seafood eaters will find plenty to indulge in, with a variety of traditional Mexican dishes such as enchiladas, mole, and chiles rellenos.
Many of the restaurants in Loreto are run by locals, giving visitors an authentic taste of the town’s culture and flavors. And don’t forget to pair your meal with a refreshing margarita or local beer.
