How Would you like to hear about some Excitement in Customs at San Jose del Cabo airport? I have a cautionary tale!

I recently went to Los Cabos on a girl’s trip with my daughter and two cousins. We had a great time, but first, I had a little problem at the airport. We flew into SJD, Los Cabos International Airport. If you’ve ever been to Mexico you know about customs and the green or red light you get which tells you whether or not your bags get checked by customs. I had the green light on both my bags, but a customs guy said he wanted to check my carry-on bag.

Dallas Blooms has returned at the Dallas Arboretum until April 16!

I love the spring at the Dallas Arboretum because it brings Dallas Blooms, the largest floral festival in the Southwest. This year Dallas Blooms returns February 25-April 16, with 500,000 spring-blooming bulbs, thousands of azaleas and hundreds of Japanese cherry trees and a NEW exhibition of Gary Lee Price’s Great Contributors, including Ruby Bridges, Harriet Tubman, Mother Teresa and Amelia Earhart. The Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden also reopens on February 25. Come for the flowers and stay for fun during Dallas Blooms.

I Spent a Delicious Night in Las Vegas with Amazing Celebrity Chef Bobby Flay! Are you a fan of the Food Network? My husband, Randy and I enjoy watching Beat Bobby Flay.

Neither of us cook because we hate to cleanup, but Randy has always loved watching cooking shows. Until I started watching Beat Bobby Flay with him, I did not understand how anyone could be interested in watching people cook, but I found the show fascinating, probably because it has a competitive aspect to it. If you’ve never seen it, two chefs compete against each other to compete against Bobby Flay, a celebrity chef who owns several restaurants. Of course, Bobby wins most of the time. On a recent trip to Las Vegas, I began to understand why celebrity chefs become celebrities!

I’m sure everyone has noticed that there have been no posts for quite a while. Why? Life! Life is very busy at the moment, and I cannot do everything at once. We are prepping our house for sale, along with a million other crazy events right now. If I cannot do my best writing this blog, then I’m going to wait.
