When you went on your last vacation, did you see Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes strutting around town? Were the Beckhams enjoying a meal in a local restaurant? Instead, they go to spots such as Kohanaiki were they know they won’t be bothered. Honolulu is for typical holidaymakers whereas this secluded spot is for the mega-rich. Thanks to their flexible lifestyles, they can go on vacation whenever they want, whether it’s the height of summer of mid-winter. After all, everything’s the same in December as July.

Good tips! We rented a villa once in Bonaire; it was wonderful to have our own little bit of beach and a gorgeous house to ourselves. A step up would be a villa with staff, which we didn’t have! It never would have occurred to me to hire a jet, though: literally jetset!

It’s so easy now to take advantage of “luxury” amenities for a fraction of the cost. I’ve yet to try a fractional jet but I’d sure be up for it! Who doesn’t want to live like a millionaire?
