NEWS RELEASE:
NOW IS THE TIME TO MAKE RESERVATIONS FOR JULY 4TH
AT TEXAS CAMPGROUNDS AND RV PARKS
CROWLEY, Texas, May 20, 2019, — Now is the time to make reservations for July 4th weekend at many campgrounds, RV parks and resorts across Texas.
“People are making their reservations earlier and earlier each year, especially as record numbers of new RV owners enter the market,” said Brian Schaeffer, executive director and CEO of the Texas Association of Campground Owners (TACO), which hosts TexasCampgrounds.com, the travel planning website.
TexasCampgrounds.com provides descriptions, photos and links to more than 350 campgrounds, RV parks and resorts across the Lone Star State, many of which have park model RVs, cabins and other rental accommodations designed by Platinum Cottages.
“While consumer interest in RVing continues to grow, campgrounds and RV parks are also increasingly providing a variety of rental units to accommodate people who don’t have an RV,” Schaeffer said.
The following Texas campgrounds and RV parks highlight the wide range of parks that are available over the Independence Day holiday through TexasCampgrounds.com:
— Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park in Terrell: This adults only community features RV sites and park model RV rentals. Amenities include basketball, tennis and pickleball courts; a swimming pool and hot tub; an adults only fitness room; 64 acres for walking and jogging; a catch-and-release fishing pond; horseshoe pits; and a putting green. https://www.bluebonnetrv.com

Park amenities include a 4,500-square foot dog park, tennis courts, an indoor heated swimming pool, and Lizzie Mae’s Mercantile, the park’s unique gift store, which features everything from Texas-themed souvenirs to Christmas ornaments to specialty food items, unique baking mixes and condiments to unusual lamps, throw pillows and one-of-a-kind home decor items. www.fortrvparks.com.
