7 Romantic Places to Visit in Singapore

Gardens by the Bay in Romantic Singapore

Singapore is a very romantic place to go for a honeymoon. This is not common knowledge though. Everyone just considers Singapore to be a tourist destination. But, the list here will show you that Singapore is one of the most romantic honeymoon destinations you can choose. The list does include some cliched destinations, but grab one of those Singapore honeymoon packages, and get going! You will both love it.

  1. Picnic at the Esplanade Roof Garden

The picnic at the Esplanade Roof Garden is free! It is perfect for some low-budget romance, after all the best things in life are free, right? The Esplanade Roof Garden is a prime romantic spot for a romantic and laid-back evening. Filled with flowers, this roof garden gives you an unobstructed view of the Marina Bay Sands. Not only that, but you can also see the Singapore River and One Fullerton in all their glory. Take a romantic walk through the garden after your picnic. Psst…it is the best location for going down on your knees…

  1. Feel the clouds at 1-Altitude

Are you party lovers? Maybe it was a club where you both first met? If that is the case, there is nothing more romantic for both of you than to go on a date on the highest alfresco bar in the world!

1-Altitude is perched daintily on the uppermost floors of One Raffles Place. The combination of three concept bars and restaurants makes it the ideal place for dinner as well as drinks. The 360-degree clear view ranging till Indonesia as well as Malaysia is the best and most romantic thing about this place. One tip though, do not go there on weekends since it will be jam-packed!

  1. The marina bay sands light and water show

This free light and water show at Marina Bay Sands is worth your time, and the best thing about it is that it is absolutely free! The timings are at night, so be sure to be strolling near that area near around a 8 pm! So, while taking a walk-through Marina Bay Sands, just stop for a while, and watch this spectacular show.

Marina Bay
  1. The sky bridge at gardens by the bay

This futuristic garden of Singapore might seem too bland and technical in the daytime. But, as soon as the night approaches, it starts transforming itself into something much more beautiful! The best feeling is when you walk on the suspension bridge with the trees spanning over your heads, and the sweet scent of flowers permeating the very air you breathe. It feels as if Cupid came down himself and created this for two lovers.

  1. City sightseeing boats

If you are ambitious, you can book a private boat that will take you around the city. Spend the evening on a cruise, listen to stories, and drink wine, all while you behold the spectacular night view of the city! Get your strawberries dipped in chocolate ready for the occasion! And champagne!

  1. Marina at Keppel Bay

Visit Asia’s best marina and behold something completely different from the usual trip to Singapore. With free entry, this place is cost effective when it comes to a proposal. The state of the art yachts will take your breath away. Later, go and have a fine lunch or dinner in one of the exquisite restaurants that line the Marina.

  1. Mount Faber

Mount Faber is the only natural spot in Singapore where you can go for a cozy snuggle. The sunset here is worth beholding, and the panoramic view is breath-taking. This place, being so close to nature, is the perfect place for romantic declarations (i.e. proposals!). Sometimes, you might get lucky and see the fireworks show from afar too!

Now that you have read the list, you must have found some really good destinations where you can go on with your love! Whether you want to go around the city on a private boat or go see the sunset together, Singapore gives you all the options.
