Fearing to jinx it, I haven’t said anything about our trip to Cozumel this summer. It has been two years…and Randy is finally back in our ocean home!
Seeing him snorkel has been so wonderful…there have been times during the last 22 months that I’ve wondered if I would ever see him snorkel or dive again. We even saw an Eagle Ray flying by on our snorkel today!
Yeeeehawwww!
A few pictures while playing with my camera…tomorrow I dive!

PS Always buy travel insurance!
His journey (and you with him) has been nothing short of amazing. So exciting that he’s snorkeling!
SO inspirational.
He’s walking, and snorkeling, miracle. Truly.
So glad to see he’s snorkeling. My perfectly healthy husband Dennis, was diagnosed with IPF last year at 58 yrs. We still have so much we want to do in life~together. He’s on the Lung Transplant List now. Thanks for showing the ‘after transplant’ possibilities. We thought swimming in the ocean was forbidden. I’m so glad you both are enjoying life!!!
I’m so sorry…this is a terrible disease. Which center are you at? I hope he gets his call soon! The ocean is fine…but no rivers or lakes unless they are alpine. Randy was 53 when he became ill, but it was diagnosed as sarcoid. We are the luckiest people in the world that he is here. Our story is under the heading Our Lung Transplant Journey, and if you want to prepare, I started blogging from the beginning of his “crash”.
This made me tear up. Have a wonderful trip and make lots of new memories. Higgs and kisses to you both!
This house is full of memories, and so many include you! Saw an eagle ray snorkeling and I will never forget the dance we had with 3 of them in the same area! I miss diving with you! xoxoxo
I am so excited that Randy is now back in the ocean playing with all the fish. Great photo’s !!!
me too! It has been 2 years….I cannot believe it. He isn’t diving this trip…because of Alexandra’s wedding in October. We are being very careful to stay well!
So thrilled for you! XO murph
Thank you, Murph! Hope we see you soon!
