Mostly Wordless Wednesday….though of course I have comments! Paris is one of my favorite casinos in Las Vegas, and one I always return to. Partly for the beauty of the casino which looks like an outside Paris street, partly because the chocolate crepes are fabulous, and partly because I always seem to be lucky in the casino!
And now for my very favorite part of Las Vegas……………WINNING!

Yep. It’s a reasonable facsimile. Only not Paris, of course. I used to have to spend a few weeks at a time in Vegas for work and grew to love it. And then, as it’s developed now? Not so much.

We love Paris!! The first time we visited Las Vegas, we had just returned from Paris, France and were really surprised that the hotel actually looked pretty authentic. We have to get back to Vegas one of these days…

I think I’d get a kick out of the themed architecture, including Paris, in Las Vegas.

Absolutely! Part of the fun of Vegas is the architecture.

The Paris Hotel in Las Vegas is a riot. I’ll never forget visiting with my mother once who commented, ‘Now, I don’t need to go to Paris.’ Cringe. (We did later and she took back every word.) Vegas is just unlike any place else. Loved your pictures too.

Thanks, Elaine. Vegas has a long history for my family…it’s crass and tacky and grotesque…and I love it.
