Le Blanc Spa Resort in Cabo has an amazing fine dining experience! There are several restaurants at the resort serving many different cuisines from Italian to Asian, but Lumiere, the French fine dining experience, is exquisite and should not be missed. It is luxury for your tummy, and we’re all happy when our taste buds are satisfied. Trust Lumiere for pure joy.
Lumiere is a visual and tasteful fine dining experience. The dining room was elegant and opulent, a lovely treat for the eyes before the dishes are served. The decor was sumptuous and utterly magnificent. The service was
unparalleled in my experience. The wait staff was very attentive, and I never once looked around for him as he anticipated my every desire.
I had the pleasure of meeting the Chef, Julio, and he kindly asked about my food preferences (seafood!) and guaranteed that would delight me with his creations. He delivered impeccably. Chef Julio studied gastronomy at the Autonomous University of Coahuila. Afterward, he worked for a variety of luxury 4 and 5 diamond hotel chains in the Mayan Riviera. At Lumiere Los Cabos, amazes with mouth-watering creations at the signature French restaurant at Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos. It is the only restaurant in the resort that requires reservations. The fine dining experience is well worth it.
First, I was served bread and three different butters, one with garlic. My cocktail consisted of French 75 gin, sparkling water, and lime juice and it was refreshingly delicious. Next, they delivered Brioche with foie gras and pine nuts, and Sea Urchin with sabayon, salicornia, crab, and cauliflower. The third was Tuna Tartare, and I’m sorry there’s no photo of the Sea Urchin, I ate it before I remembered to photograph it!
The next course was a Beet Root Salad with goat cheese. I loved it, especially the crisped beets around the salad. It was beautifully presented, as I’m sure you’ll agree. One of the main pleasures of a fine dining experience is the presentation of the food.
I have to confess to being a lobster lover. I love it. It is my favorite food, well, that and french fries! Chef Julio next sent me a lovely Lobster Tartare.
My Le Blanc Spa Resort fine dining experience continued with Shrimp Gnocci. I never once looked at a menu, Chef Julio took my preferences and created delectable dishes for me.
This photo does not do the Snapper with red cabbage, roasted beets and zucchini with camembert cream justice. It was perfectly cooked and since the cream came separately I could have just enough to satisfy my palate.
Mango Pana Cotta and Chocolate a la Napoleon was my first sweet, preparing me for the big finish!
The Creme Brulee was a gorgeous presentation of Vanilla with Sponge and Caramel. This lovely dessert was meant to be savored, and I did just that, slowly, enjoying every bite.
My fine dining experience at Le Blanc Spa Resort in Cabo could not have been more perfect. The ambiance, the service, the kindness and the inventiveness of the chef were splendid. The wine pairing was particularly impressive.
I wholeheartedly recommend Le Blanc Spa Resort in Cabo as a 5 Star resort on the Tam Scale. Experiencing the fine dining at Lumiere is an absolute must. The other restaurants offer a variety of fare, but Lumiere is a standout. It is an evening, not a quick dinner. Don’t forget to make reservations, your butler will take care of your request. The resort will pamper not only your body and soul, but your palate as well! (Don’t forget Le Blanc Cancun!)
