When most people think of RVs, they think of rough camping, backpacking and sleeping under the stars. Of course, that’s the beauty of an RV, but these stereotypes don’t have to be the only way.
All over the world, there are luxury RV parks that are complete with waterfall pools, beaches, chartered yachts and, basically, every elegance you could dream up. Who said RVing means that you just get a water supply and power line?
We’ve listed our favourite luxury RV parks across the world. Be careful, these will make you never want to spend a night in (even a 5-star) hotel again!

Cliff House Holiday Park
Located in Suffolk, Britain, this RV park might not boast the hot weather like the other locations on the list, but it has its own little charm. So much so, we had to include it on our list.
Cliff House Holiday Park is so popular because of its incredible location – situated right on heritage coast with beach access. As well, it is surrounded by woodland walks and ample outdoor activities. There’s also bars and restaurants on site, as well as every other amenity you could wish for.
El Escorial
This wonderful campsite is located in Madrid, making it perfect for the summer holidays where you just want to relax. Relax on a sailing adventure of the Spanish coast or check out the mythical Cibeles fountain then return to El Escorial resort to lounge on the ample manicured grounds. What is really the most impressive about this campsite are the incredible swimming pools available. Pets are also allowed, we wouldn’t want them missing out on a taste of luxury, would we?
The Chateau du Gibanel
Apart from being an incredible resort, this Chateau du Gibanel is set in such a beautiful location that it just seems to trump many other resorts. In particular, the body of water which runs alongside the camp and the beautiful hills surrounding it.
The name comes from the 13th-century chateau that accommodates the campsite, a beautiful building that you just won’t get bored of looking at.
Complete with pools, entertainment and every possible service you could need (including takeaway), this will be a luxury trip to take.
Heritage Motor Coach and Resort Marina

Located just five minutes from the town centre, Le Barcares, we’re obsessed with how fun and imaginative this park is.
Spina Camping Village
If the modern aquatic park doesn’t sell you, the rest of the amazing Spina Camping Village will definitely exceed your expectations. Located just by the sea, with direct access to the beach, this park has everything and more. With a water park, nature site and entertainment for all the family, you will not regret booking a trip here.
Located in Lido di Spina, Ferrara, Italy, it has the perfect mixture of beach and woods so that you can enjoy the natural beauty and still sip a drink poolside.

We RVed for 8 years in North America and must have parked in about a hundred campgrounds and RV resorts. This post analyzes the 4 kinds of parks: https://rvcruisinglifestyle.blogspot.com/2011/11/four-types-of-campgrounds-rv-park.html This list that includes luxury ones in Europe could have enticed us to continue RVing in Europe!

Thank you Carol! I’m sure people will want to take a look!

I have an RV travel fantasy that is not shared by my husband. Maybe if he knew there were luxury RV parks he’d agree to give it a try.
