It is #FISHFRIDAY and Here are a Few Fish I love!

It is #FISHFRIDAY and Here are Fish I love! I cannot begin to tell you how badly I want to get back in the water. I want to go shopping for swimsuits and beach clothes and shoes, and I want to travel to the ocean and dive, dive, dive! I’m just waiting for COVID cases to start to go down in Texas where I live.

Yes, I miss diving, traveling and photographing my fishy friends! Here are some of my favorite photos of fish I have known and loved! And here is a cool video of Filefish on my other blog https://tamwarnerminton.com/fantastic-filefish-for-fishfriday/!

These sharks were hanging around our boat in Indonesia, so fun to watch.
How I love octopus!
Reticulated Damselfish
Precious Balloonfish
Can you see the frogfish? It is just above the tip of my divemaster’s finger! So tiny, and blends in perfectly.
The Splendid Toadfish, always lovely to see. You can find them only in Cozumel.
Cool Chevron Barracuda live in the Indo-Pacific. They are so beautiful.
Longhorn Cowfish
Longbeaked Coralfish, a Butterflyfish
I love Honeycomb Eels. I think their coloration is amazing, and I love the pattern.
I love grunts! These are French Grunts.
Fabulously beautiful Longfin Spadefish Juvenile.
A Bridled Parrotfish with an Ornate Butterflyfish
This is a Woebeggone Shark! AKA Carpetshark, and I’m sure you can see why it has that nickname.
I see too much of this! Plastic is everywhere, and it is a rare dive when I don’t see some kind of plastic trash. We have to do better! Carry your own cup, please!
