Bat Shit Crazy! Austin goes batshit crazy at dusk on the Ann Richards Congress Avenue Bridge! Have you been to Austin to see the crazy bat show? You should check it out at BatCon!
From March to November, Mexican fruit bats nest and live under the Ann Richards Congress Avenue Bridge in downtown Austin. At dusk, they are seen coming out of the bridge, and it draws crowds. I was there with my friend Andrea and her little girl, and it was a dark, stormy night. The bats came flying out from under the bridge…then it started raining and they went bat shit crazy! It was certainly an interesting night!

I’ve never done this but I totally would! This looks so cool. I’m not scared of bats haha. If I ever make it to Austin, I’d love to check this out.

It is seasonal from March to October, every evening!
