On this Flashback Friday I’m looking back at Chobe National Park. I have extraordinary memories of our safari in Chobe, Botswana. Chobe National Park is the most diverse park in Botswana, and is bordered by the Chobe River (water = crocs and hippos!). On the far shore is Namibia. We saw so many different kinds of animals, but everyone goes to Chobe for the Elephants. On a continent where they are so ruthlessly hunted, Chobe National Park has been a haven for them.

Yosemite is an Amazing Fall Destination. I know because I have experienced it!
I have been to many places on this planet that are awe-inspiring, and I must tell you that Yosemite is in my top destinations. Our day in the park was perfect. The autumn sun was shining, but at times, the clouds gave drama to the scenery. Although the waterfalls and rivers had been dry since July, rain a few days before our visit allowed us to see gushing waterfalls and roaring rivers. Yosemite is a piece of art created by nature’s bounty. If you have not been there, I tell you it must be on your list of places to see before you die. There are no words to accurately describe its majesty and beauty but these photos will tell you everything you need to know. A picture is worth a thousand words!

Amazing Underwater Life in Myanmar! In 2014 I traveled solo to dive the Mergui Archipelago, part of which is in Myanmar. For more on that adventure, check me out on Scubaverse at http://www.scubaverse.com/diving-the-mergui-archipelago/. There were some weather conditions that interupted the diving, but wherever one dives, there is always excitement and the thrill of discovery. I am currently planning another trip with The Smiling Seahorse on their brand new boat! Just waiting until coronavirus has a vaccine or when it is safe to travel. Here are photos of some of the amazing underwater life in Myanmar! [Read more…] about Do You Want to See Amazing Photos of Underwater Life in Myanmar?

The California coastline has been completely developed, and the sheer number of people residing there is astronomical. Houses and apartments and condominiums dot the landscape, and yet the incredible lure of the ocean is almost impossible to resist. Laguna Beach is irrestible. There is something about the way the town sits on the hills looking down at an often rugged coast that catches one’s breath. My favorite walk in Orange County is Heisler Park in Laguna Beach, an ecological reserve with walkways and paths to unbelievable coastal views. When you go to Southern California, make time to visit Heisler Park! There is no prettier view in Laguna Beach.
