I had a lovely experience at Casa de Suenos Bed and Breakfast in St. Augustine, Florida! I loved the city, the architecture, the history of it all, and I loved the Bed and Breakfast I stayed at in the historic district. It was the perfect location! Casa de Suenos is an easy walk to the fabulous Old Town Trolley Tours as well as many of the sights and shopping areas. Perfect!
The home is well taken care of, and is very inviting from the outside. It has tremendous curb appeal on a corner lot. Inside, the house is cozy and welcoming, as are the innkeepers. The sitting room and entry way are lovely.
My room was large and oh so comfortable, with a fabulous bathroom and balcony. The bath had a large jetted tub. One of the perks at Casa de Suenos is a bottle of sherry in every room! Can you believe that? And better yet, every evening the innkeeper brings a dessert to your room! I confess I loved that!
Breakfast was nothing short of amazing. Everything is homemade from scratch, and it is absolutely delicious! I met two morning innkeepers, and they were both as nice and hospitable as they could be.
On your next visit to Florida, be sure and take in St Augustine, and enjoy the historical district by staying at the fabulous Casa de Suenos!
This looks like the perfect relaxing getaway. I the plane now heading to Orlando to the North American Menopause Society’s Convention….wish I was heading here instead!

Oh it is lovely Tam and I’m not sure I would leave once I had unpacked. I loved the spa bath particularly and basically all of the decor – so welcoming. I hope you had a fantastic time.

The innkeeper isn’t the owner, but she was lovely! I don’t stay home much…there is such a big world to see out there!
