Awesome Travel Photos from Texas during 2017!

Want to see some Awesome Travel Photos from Texas during 2017? As I think I have mentioned before (hundreds of times!) I love traveling in Texas. I haven’t made it all over the state yet, and I certainly want to, but I have done some great exploration in the Hill Country. I know I have just scratched the surface, but check out my amazing Texas travel photos!

Pedernales River, where the LBJ Ranch, aka Texas White House, is located.
Jacob’s Well, a perennial karstic spring in the Texas Hill Country, flows from Cypress Creek northwest of Wimberley, Texas. You have to have reservations to actually swim in it!
LBJ’s boyhood home is in Johnson City, Texas.
LBJ and Lady Bird in Texas Wildflowers. Did you know that Lady Bird had all of the highways planted with wildflowers? We thank her every spring when they pop up everywhere!
Getting the “Johnson Treatment”! Couldn’t resist throwing in a photo of me with LBJ. If not for the Vietnam War escalation, I think he would have been known as one of our greatest presidents. His Great Society helped the poor and elderly tremendously.
A lovely BNB to stay at in Georgetown, Tx, one of the prettiest towns in Texas! I highly recommend San Gabriel House! Be sure and ask for their French Toast!
Old theater in Georgetown
Georgetown has a yearly Wine Festival every fall!
City Hall is magnificent.
Sanitary Bakery is now 600 Degrees Pizza! I’m glad they left the old sign.

I had a wonderful opportunity to be hosted by Fall Creek Vineyards for their annual Grape Stomp. I didn’t know what to expect (other than the I Love Lucy show), but it was so much fun I want to do it again! Thank you to Fall Creek Vineyards for having me! I loved it, and I highly recommend everyone go to it at the end of the summer!

To say I loved stomping would be an understatement!
Fall Creek Vineyards in Driftwood, Texas, across from Salt Lick BBQ! This is a smaller vineyard than the one in Tow, Texas.
Rows of grapes!
Sergio Cuadra, Director of Winemaking, gave us a wine tour and tasting to remember!

Juicy plump grapes!
Everyone was enjoying the events! Check their website to choose events to go to. You will love everything about Fall Creek Vineyards!
My daughter, a photographer, surprised me with a trip to Ham Orchards in Terrell, Texas. It was late August, and the last weekend it was open for the year. I have to admit I had never heard of it. I have never tasted such fabulous produce. Peaches, blackberries, strawberries, and all the preserves! Photo by Alexandra Minton of Alexandra Minton Photography
Yes, they even have BBQ! Photo by Alexandra Minton.
My daughter’s instagram account, @SweetSweetDallas has gained in popularity, and this was a photo even D Magazine picked up. Photo by Alexandra Minton

Ham Orchard will reopen in midMay! Put it on the calendar, folks!

I traveled to Austin quite a bit this year, my son and his wife now live there, and my first grandbaby was born in November! Adaline Rose is a dream come true! I am now a grandmother, as hard as it is (for me, anyway) to believe!

Red Bud Isle Dog Park, Austin, Texas. I love this dog park. Have you heard of it?

You will enjoy these posts as well, and 3 of them are from my 3 blogging buddies, and together we are #4TravelChicas!
