CULTURAL ADVENTURES

Awesome Travel Photos from Cozumel and Baja 2017

I finished my international travel of 2017 in Mexico. First, a fantastic and fun trip in October to my second home in Cozumel (we rent it! www.vrbo.com/368692) with three of my blogger friends, and a wonderful trip in December to the Sea of Cortez and La Paz with Red Travel Mexico! I love both coasts of Mexico, they are so radically different. The east side is jungle and rain forest with calm, clear, blue waters, and the west is almost desert, with mountains and the ocean waves. Both are beautiful.

Our first evening was spent at Pepe’s Grill in Cozumel
We had some crazy adventures!
Checking out the windward side of Cozumel!
A lovely evening at La Cocay!
The table next to us at La Cocay! They know how to do the Day of the Dead in Mexico! Isn’t this great?
My car kinda, sorta blew up. It was the radiator…or the battery.
We found a ride to the Rasta Bar!
Shrimp Pops are absolutely heavenly! Buccanos at Night had a fabulous tasting for us.
A lobster hamburger with onion rings. OMG.
Of course I had to take them to the iconic Cozumel bar, Coconuts!
The Cozumel greeters downtown!
It was Halloween when Mexico celebrates their Day of the Dead, honoring their ancestors and loved ones who have passed.
Cozumel has a great town square filled with shops, restaurants, and fountains!

This is a special group of people, and we had a wonderful trip!
Our fantastic Red Travel Mexico and Travels with Tam Group hiking and bouldering in Sierra Laguna.
The white rock, streams and waterfalls made for an interesting hike! There was a lot of climbing and slithering involved.
A double waterfall! This was the coolest hike ever!
Incredible fish tornado!

We kayaked through mangroves and ended up at this incredible beach, Balandra.
A norte was raging, but this protected cove was quiet and relaxing.
The mushroom rock is so important a fountain of it is in La Paz town square!
La Paz had its Christmas Market going on
Famous Cerritos surfing mecca.
There were surfers out there riding the waves!
We spent some time in a magical town called Todos Santos.
Todos Santos is a quaint town!
