Pacific Terrace Hotel is a Hidden Gem on Pacific Beach in San Diego!
Pacific Terrace Hotel is a Hidden Gem on Pacific Beach in San Diego! I absolutely loved this hidden gem on Pacific Beach when I visited San Diego in December.
San Diego is a dream destination as there are few cities that can compare in sheer beauty and accessibility to the ocean. The dream city is on the far southern end of California, nestled between the ocean and mountains. The weather is almost always perfect. I actually did see, for the first time, a couple of days of rain in San Diego in December. It only added atmosphere to the locations I wanted to visit. Of course, the first consideration on any trip is where to stay. I wanted to do something a little different, so I searched for smaller, boutique hotels on the water, and I found a true hidden gem on Pacific Beach, the Pacific Terrace Hotel!

Yes, we are still in the Covid pandemic. I could choose to be glum and frustrated, and so could everyone else. I’d been planning my first citizen-science dive trip since Covid began, a fabulous multi-day trip to the Maldives! When it was over, I decided to spend a few days in Singapore. The trip was canceled. I am one of many who have lost loved ones to COVID, so I do understand the cancellation. For those of us who love to travel, the pandemic has greatly affected our lives. So, what to do what about it?
